Rationale for Assessment: This assessment task provides learners with the opportunity to demonstrate they have achieved learning outcomes: L06 – analyse risk elimination, minimisation and management strategies and approaches used by professional level project manager: LO 7 – Create a holistic risk management strategy to support a professional level project plan; LO 8 – professionally present a project plan to a group of peers. Learners are required in this assessment to demonstrate their ability to present the project plan created in a professionally level. The analysis data acquired and the strategies developed from the learning outcomes shall be presented comprehensively and appropriately related to management practice and/or higher-tertiary education.

Guidelines for Assessment Task:

In this assessment, learners have the opportunity to exhibit their ability to analyse risk elimination, minimisation and management strategies and approaches used by professional level project manager. They will further demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding learned from the paper by creating a holistic risk management strategy to support a professional level project plan. In addition, they will Learners will critically review and revised the project plan created to address legislative requirements producing a professional project plan document that complies with all the appropriate legal requirements.

Core requirements the Assessment must include are set out below:

1. Review material covered in classes and assigned reference materials.

2. Analyse the risks of the project plan developed in the past assessments.

3. Design a plan to eliminate or minimise risks identified using management strategies and

approaches used by professional level project manager.

4. Create a holistic risk management strategies and approaches to support a professional

level project plan.

5. Professionally present a project plan to a group comprehensively and appropriately

related to management practice and/or higher-tertiary education.

6. Write a reflection on the feedback or feedforward from peers-professionals during the

presentation of the project plan

7. Present the above assessment task in a professional manner and include any

appropriate references using the APA referencing style.
